Relationships. From A Man's Point Of View

When are they over. What is the breaking point.

Had a fellar i am friends with ask me this. He's younger but ask me, when do you know it's about over. He dated the same girl for 4-5 months or so. And then things went bad.

How do you know your through and how do you know that there is nothing there left from her. Seems like a good question.

So from on here. Guys how do you know. Seems like a good question for this forum.

My opinion is, the first year of a relationship is a honeymoon period, if you love someone and they love you back the first year should go pretty smoothly because thats when you are really getting to know each other. Not to be general, but if someone is having problems with their girl after 4 months, its probably his best interest to cut his losses and move on.

IMHO it is when she throws a kitchen object at you believe it or not I have worked with 3 different guys that has been hit by some type of kitchen cookware from there senifagent other....

This is a little off topic but I wonder how much more common spoucal abuse by women to men is than we know. I know of a half a dozen events from guys I know that were laughed off that had the man/women roles been reversed would have been safe house worthy

So basically we have no clue huh. Other than if she quits swallowing. Good advice i'll pass that on.
Geesh guys. I know most look at this to act stupid, post some naked pic and porn sites, and tell some off colored jokes.
But really you know it wouldn't hurt to kind of have a few serious topics. Esp. for some of those younger one's looking in or here. PVFAN, PHD etc etc. A little advice goes a long ways.
    Oh well i guess not.
As far as the relationship part. Like i told my friend. When the loving ends and it's real life. Well better know for sure your both in it for the long haul.
Cause it takes 5 minutes to get into a mess and a life time to get out of it. If your having problems at 5 months. I re-examine the relationship and maybe take a break from it.
No use ruining two lives maybe more over something that don't seem to be working.
Oh and the Date Rape topic is for real. The college has had a few problems with it. From set ups to real date rape

It's over when there is no communication. That is one of the main things in a relationship. Also if one of the persons is distant. Or it's over when she says it is lol...

    And your right Counts.
The tendency use to be on a domestic call to always bring in the male.
Well that is beginning to change. After police have found themselves going to the same home time after time.
Their now starting to take the females in. Sometimes they are using it saying it is for their own safety, but in fact it is to dissolve the situation, and actually place the woman under arrest for domestic violence.
Officers have found the women tend to create a state of urgency that can not be dealt with at the scene. It's better to remove them, than to let things escalate.
It has become a big issue.
Esp. since the law was passed that one would be removed from the home.
And it is now not uncommon to find a man is in a relationship with domestic violence going on. From verbal to physical. Kind of a role reversal, but it is happening.

Re: Relationships. From A Man's Point Of View

I read something once, that it was estimated that I think 1/3 of spousal abuse calls that could be called in would be female on male but that males are conditioned to not admitting it or really being able to win if they do pursue it.
What we've got here is failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach, so you get what we had here last week which is the way he wants it. Well, he gets it.
